Director Of Psychology, HSE Health

The purpose of this post is to work in the HSE Health Region South West structure to provide leadership and management of all Psychology Services across Cork Kerry ensuring the provision of high quality, responsive services at all times.

To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the HSE area.

The post holder will support the development of the service in line with local and national operational plans.

The Director will provide strategic and operational leadership/governance and line-management/supervision, as required, for Principal Psychologists.

The Director will delegate responsibility to Principal Psychologists and Seniors Psychology Staff with designated departmental organisational tasks and projects relevant to the development of psychology services, offering guidance to more junior staff, as required.
