A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Director of Nursing 1, Assistant (Quality, Dementia), HSE Mid West Acute Services from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Purpose of the Post

The post of ADON Quality, Dementia will play a pivotal role in developing pathways for patients with Dementia to ensure their care is delivered in a timely and safe manner internally and externally of the UL hospital group. The ADON has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are: quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership.
