Deputy General Manager

The Fork & Wheel opened its doors at the end of 2024 following extensive refurbishment. We are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team. If you’re passionate about hospitality and excited to be part of something special, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.This role supports the General Manager in overseeing the restaurant's operations, ensuring exceptional service, high standards, and a memorable guest experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar.
• Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Support staff management, training, and development.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu offerings.
• Help with stock control, budgeting, and ensuring financial targets are met.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure hygiene standards are maintained.
• Step in for the General Manager when required.
• Assist with promotional events and marketing initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• 2+ years in a similar role, ideally in hospitality.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume service environments.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and budgeting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
