Decarbonisation Officer, Mid, Industrial Programme

Main Purpose of Job
The Mid South West (MSW) Growth Deal (https://midsouthwestregion.org/) is an innovative initiative designed to drive the economic prosperity of the region. Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is one of three Councils involved in the Growth Deal and plans to deliver on a range of innovation projects including a strand focussed on industrial decarbonisation. This will include supporting the development of a Green Innovation Industrial Challenge Fund, a Concrete Sustainability Innovation Centre and potential other projects.

The Decarbonisation Officer will work with the Director of Corporate Services and Governance, the Head of Service, Chief Executive’s Office and other staff and will play a key role in supporting and advancing the development and realisation of the MSW industrial decarbonisation projects.
