About This Role:

The eir evo Security Operations team is responsible for monitoring and analysing organisations’ security posture on an ongoing basis. The SOC team’s goal is to provide 24x7x365 capabilities to detect, analyse, and respond to cybersecurity incidents using a combination of technology solutions and a strong set of processes.

The SOC staff work closely with our customer and eir evo Network Operation Centre (NOC) team to ensure security issues are addressed quickly upon discovery. We are looking to expand our team with an additional dedicated vulnerability analyst who can help protect customer environments through identifying vulnerabilities & appropriate remediations.

The Cyber Security Vulnerability Analyst is responsible to log and track discovered vulnerabilities, perform continuous monitoring, manage the lifecycle of discovered vulnerabilities, provide reports, and other tasks as the business needs require. Analysts should have an understanding of vulnerability management tools and reports. They are expected to stay up-to-date with current relevant advancements in cybersecurity developments and technologies.

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Cyber Security Vulnerability Analyst to drive vulnerability management, risk assessment, and reporting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance security workflows and ensure effective remediation of vulnerabilities.

Expectations From The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, track remediation progress, and ensure alignment with operational requirements.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and cybersecurity best practices to continuously enhance the organisation's security posture.

  • Carryout vulnerability scans as directed by management.

  • Develop and onboard security runbooks, analyse root causes, and provide actionable security insights to customers.

  • Lead Threat management meetings with the customer IT teams, facilitate decision-making, and improve ticketing workflows.

  • Collaborate with patch management teams to enhance vulnerability remediation processes.

  • Own and enhance Weekly & Monthly Reporting Dashboards, defining key security metrics and KPIs.

  • Provide strategic security guidance and risk intelligence to improve overall cybersecurity posture.

  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and assess key risk drivers.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Execute vulnerability scans as directed by management.

  • Support decision-making by defining remediation actions and plans.

  • Ensure ticketing includes sufficient context to optimize discussions.

  • lead weekly customer meetings to guide patch management strategies, ensuring timely and effective vulnerability remediation.

Requirements For A Successful Application:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Tenable, etc.).

  • Experience in managing and nurturing customer relationships as a primary technical point of contact.

  • Expertise in patch management and remediation workflows.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for strategic discussions.

  • Strong risk intelligence analysis and actionable security insight capabilities.

  • Familiarity with dashboard reporting and key security KPIs.

  • Proven ability to lead security-focused meetings with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical skills for risk intelligence and dashboard enhancements.

  • Certifications: Tenable, Qualys, or other IT security-related certifications (CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, etc.).

  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, Windows servers, and Linux/Unix basics.

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals and vulnerability assessment

  • Fluent English proficiency
