Conveyancing And Probate Solicitor

Walsh & Partners Solicitors LLP is a general practice firm with offices in Cork City and Midleton. They are currently seeking an experienced Conveyancing and Probate Solicitor to join their busy team due to continued expansion. This role is a permanent position and will be based in Midleton office.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ post qualification experience and have the ability to manage a busy and varied caseload. Experience in commercial property and renewable energy is an advantage, but not essential. An interest in agriculture is desirable, but not essential.

The successful candidate will deal extensively with all types of private client transactions including drafting of wills, estate administration alongside residential and commercial property, sales, purchases and refinances.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in all areas of residential and commercial conveyancing particularly acting for both purchasers and vendors in purchases and sales and in respect of drafting, reviewing and negotiating agricultural and commercial leases.
  • Have experience in drafting of wills, probate and administration of the estates and drafting and registering Enduring Powers of Attorney;
  • Be familiar with case management systems; experience with Keyhouse would be an advantage;
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload with an attention to detail and client focused.

Candidates should be in a position to work independently. Salary commensurate with experience. All applications will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence.

The position is envisaged as being a full time role, but applicants who wish to work a four-day week, or who wish to make use of a hybrid work schedule will also be considered.
