Commis Chef, Hunter's Yard

The Hound Restaurant at Mount Juliet Estate are recruiting for a Commis Chef to join their team.

Shift work and weekend work are an essential part of this role. Flexibility is required in this position. You must speak basic - fluent English and work to a high standard .

Duties:

• Food Preparation
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene
• Taking directions from both Executive Chef and Senior Chef
• Ensuring co-operation with HACCP Standards at all times
• Ensuring the hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation
• Display excellence in food preparation and service
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service

The successful candidate will

• have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Have good communication skills
• Be willing to work shift work and weekends as required
• Be willing to work as part of a team
• One years in a similar role
