Clinical Nurse Manager 2

Full-time Permanent Contract (35 hours) (Part-time may be considered)

Working with the CRC Nursing Department, mainly based in Clondalkin but will involve travel to other CRC sites based on service needs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated nurse to join us as we continue to deliver high quality care. The post holder will work as part of a dedicated and innovative team providing nursing care and support to children in our school settings, and as part of our national specialist multidisciplinary team including adult clinical services. S/he will demonstrate a desire to deliver a positive experience to our clients and their families, with an ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The Successful candidate will have the following essential requirements:

  • Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) in the General or Children’s Division.
  • At least 5 years post qualification nursing experience
  • Experience working in relevant specialist area, eg. Neurodisability, or paediatrics

Desirable requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in management or leadership
  • Experience working in a Disability setting or complex paediatric care
  • Evidence of service developments and improvement in clinical practice

It must be clearly demonstrated in your CV and supporting statement how you meet the required skills, competencies and knowledge for the post. Department of Health Salary applies Clinical Nurse Manager 2 grade code 2119 (€59070 -€ 74,643).
