Clinical Nurse Manager

Avista is a dynamic disability service providing clinical supports and residential services to children with complex disability needs and their families. We have 3 network teams in Blanchardstown, Blakestown & Cabra. You will be joining dynamic, family centred, interdisciplinary teams with excellent access to supervision and support from team. The successful candidates will required to work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provide services to 0-18 year old children and young persons with complex needs. The candidates will work in partnership with families within a family centred model.

MATERNITY LEAVE FULL-TIME CONTRACT (37.5Hours Per Week).

Salary:€59,661 -€75,389* (lsi)

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience.

Essential Criteria

· Up to date NMBI Registration - RNID -essential

· A completed Management Course -essential

· Experience of leading and Managing a staff team

· Full, clean driving license for manual vehicles Highly Desirable

· Have previous CNM1 experience within the area of Intellectual Disability –Highly Desirable

Applicants should:

· Have experience of supporting children and young people with complex health needs, autism and behaviours of concern

· Have completed mandatory training.

· Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work on own initiative.

· Proven managerial, organisational and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work effectively with families and the wider MDT

· Have a knowledge of the HIQA standards / regulations and Health Act 2007.

· Have a detailed knowledge of rostering and managing the rostering arrangements and leave planning for staff.
