Cleaning Operative

(Day Shift - Retail)

ROLE:

· Carry out scheduled and unplanned daily cleaning tasks

· Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet required standards

· Deep cleaning of production areas

· Ensuring that cleaning equipment and PPE are well maintained

· Compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene procedures

· Any other duties conducive to the role

ESSENTIAL QUALITIES:

• Experience in a similar role preferably in the food industry
• Previous experience using industrial chemicals
• Thorough and conscientious work aptitude
• Willingness to learn, ability to work as part of a team under minimum supervision
• Availability to work flexible working hours including evenings and weekends.

DESIRABLE QUALITIES:

• Food hygiene certificate
• Good understanding of English
