Details of Service

HSE Dublin South, Kildare & West Wicklow Community Healthcare Mental Health Service provides a community based model of care for children, adults and older adults. There are also three acute inpatient units for adults and one for children located within the CHO. Community based services are delivered by community mental health teams and include outpatient, day hospital, day centre and peer led options.

The service is committed to continuous professional development and growth; providing educational opportunities to all staff in the form of in-service training programs; e learning and development portal and supporting funding applications for external studies. The service is also committed to providing opportunities for advancement.

The Role:

There is currently a vacancy for an Occupational Therapy Manager that will provide an opportunity for interested candidates to join our team. The Post Holder will provide professional and clinical leadership, management and support to facilitate the Occupational Therapy Team to provide a high quality service to meet the needs of the local population. The Occupational Therapy Manager will be responsible for the management and delivery of high quality patient Centered clinical services across the Occupational Therapy Department. The post holder will develop Occupational Therapy services in line with the priorities identified in the HSE service plan and the CHO operational plan in conjunction with other disciplines and services to deliver a coordinated approach to service user care.
