Dublin South, Kildare and West Wicklow Community Healthcare Organisation provides a broad range of services which include Primary Care, Social Inclusion, Older Persons, Disabilities, Mental Health and Health & Wellbeing Services. These services are delivered through the HSE and its funded agencies to people in local communities, as close as possible to people’s homes.

QSSI CHO7 DSKWW are committed to the delivery of the HSE Patient Safety Strategy. The work of the QSSI department is related to each of the 6 Patient Safety Commitments

QSSI aims to develop and strengthen structures for quality leadership, governance and accountability working in partnership with services across the CHO. In this way, QSSI supports services to meet regulatory standards and implement health reform. Additionally, the QSSI function supports integrated improvement across care groups with service users central to this improvement.

QSSI services are provided by six key functions in this CHO including:

1. Quality and Safety

2. Infection Prevention and Control

3. Antimicrobial Stewardship

4. Adult Safeguarding

5. Children First

6. Equality & Engagement
