We are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to join our team based in Adelaide Private Care House, Belfast. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company. 

Working Pattern:
  • 40 Hours per Week
  • 5 out of 7 Days per Week

The Role:
  • Operating a busy kitchen focusing on tasty, well-balanced, nutritious meals catering for all dietary requirements.
  • Prepare and serve food to a high standard in line with company standards
  • Updating food safety records, organising rotas, stocktaking and ordering
  • To ensure all areas are clean and tidy in accordance with company and legislation standards
  • To ensure minimum wastage
  • Ensure professional image within personal Grooming and Hygiene standards at all times.
  • Ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services to the client organisation in accordance with the agreement of the contract.
  • To ensure we offer a high level of Customer Service in line with Mount Charles professional standards
  • To ensure company policies relating to Sales handling, stock control and stock ordering are implemented and monitored, taking appropriate action to resolve problems
  • To maintain effective communication with all other departments including, head office and the client.
  • Ensuring all HACCP, Food Safety, and Health & Safety Legislation requirements are always adhered to.
The Person:
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
  • Leads by example and lives our values.
  • Must have a minimum of one year's experience managing a small team.
  • Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to ensure a safe environment is maintained in compliance with health, safety, fire, hygiene, and security legislation and company policies and procedures.
