Job Summary

Job Objectives

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Manager to join our dynamic team at Nua Healthcare.

The person will make significant contributions to the achievement of all Supported Living activities, practices, and goals aimed at cultivating a high-performance culture focused on employee empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards, as well as the continuous development of our skilled and talented workforce.

This will include the following on a day-to-day basis:

  • Manage the Field Care Supervisors and staff assigned to work within your assigned territory. Attend weekly Department meetings and review minutes of previous meetings. Go through or prepare Agenda and review any MDT reports or new Referrals etc.
  • Service user review and when applicable HSE quarterly reports.
  • Review any Incident/Accident reports, making observation and recommendation for improved safety practice and escalating through head office for the purposes of trend analyses.
  • Ensure Personal plan is developed prior to any case set up.
  • A focus on sales within department.
  • Ensure all shifts are covered.
  • Ensure all staff are supervised and supported.
  • Liaising with external’s agencies as required and building the business.
  • Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) activity targets as assigned by the Director of Operations.
  • Ensure the efficient use of company resources at all times and being mindful of the need to eliminate waste from business running costs.
  • Manager budget and social fund effectively.
  • Emergency out of hours - roster basis.
  • Sales Tool, Sales capacity letter/calls to HSE/TUSLA.
  • Completing Monthly Rosters.
Skills Requirement

Qualification:

  • Level 7/8 Degree or working towards degree in Social Studies.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the legislation relative to the area.

Experience:

  • 3 years minimum managerial experience within a similar social care setting.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and judgement.
  • Making critical decisions and recommendations.
  • Capable of working within a fast-paced and flexible team.
  • Good listener and open to learning from others.
  • Excellent organisational skills / self-motivation /self-starter.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and IT skills.
  • Dedicated, reliable and flexible approach to work.
  • Full clean driver’s licence.
