Camp Host

We are looking for an enthusiastic Camp Host on a part-time basis to join our team at Aura Leitrim.

This is a Fixed Term contract from 1st July to 31st August

Our Children’s Camp Host will make indoor and outdoor activities a memorable and exciting experience for the children!

Your mission as a Camp Host will include:

· Interact and engage with customers to ensure that they receive an exceptional level of attention and service

· Supervise the children with authority and care

· Prepare sign-in sheets and activity packs and ensure all parents complete all paperwork before the child enters into the Camp

· To encourage children to play and enjoy the experience.

· Oversee Pool/Outdoor and indoor activities with children.

· Devise new games/art projects/ dance routines/outdoor physical activities to entertain and educate the children in a fun and safe environment.

· Ensure customer feedback is received from each parent by asking them to complete feedback forms for each child attending the Camps.

· To directly communicate any issue to the Duty Manager / Operations Manager immediately.

· Maintain a high service environment through appearance and attitude.

· Carry out cleaning duties, as necessary, in conjunction with the cleaner.

· Ensure the very highest operational standards are upheld with regards to cleanliness, facilities, staff, safety and service at all times. 

· Ensure that any views, recommendations or complaints are brought to the attention of the Duty Manager and dealt with promptly and efficiently to the mutual satisfaction of the customer and company.

· You must adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

· To undertake all other duties as requested which are commensurate with this role

· Dynamic and practical professionals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Genuine love of children and working with the general public

· Must have experience in organising and structuring group activities with Children

· Experience in working with children in a controlled and managed environment

· Strong awareness and knowledge on how to deliver group activities with children

· Keep up to date on all promotions, offers and news on site

· Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

· Enjoy developing strong working relationships with their teams

· Smiley, pleasant, professional, and outgoing

· Confident and authoritative with ability to deal with children, parents and staff

· Flexible attitude to working requirements to meet the needs of the business

· Fully versed on the latest child protection procedures

· Due to the nature of this role fluent English is required
