Business Development Representative
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect Identification & Outreach: Use a variety of tools to research and engage decision-makers at EMEA-based and global insurance carriers.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure a strong fit with our solutions, focusing on carriers' specific needs and pain points.
- Collaborate with Sales Teams: Schedule meetings and product demos for Account Executives, ensuring a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Funnel Building: Work closely with marketing to build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on EIS product development, competitor products, and changes in the insurance landscape to better position our solutions.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions in our CRM (Salesforce) and work with the Head of Growth and Enablement to report on weekly and monthly KPIs.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in regular training sessions and feedback loops to sharpen your skills and improve performance.
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in B2B SaaS, insurance, or fintech.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on consultative selling.
- Highly motivated and self-driven individual, with a passion for learning and achieving results.
- Proficient with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and experience using sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft).
- Ability to work remotely and collaboratively across teams, regions, time zones and functions in a fast-paced environment.
A Bonus:
- Familiarity with the insurance industry, Insurtech or core systems (e.g., policy administration, claims, underwriting solutions).
- Experience selling into enterprise-level clients or the insurance sector.
- Knowledge of sales automation tools and techniques for lead generation.
- Bilingual speaker - English and French
The targeted annual base pay range for this position is 50,000 - 65,000 EUR yr with OTE of 65,000-84,000 EUR; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive stock options as part of our offer, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
