Bookkeeper / Office Administrator

Great opportunity to join our well-established Construction Company based in North County Dublin. We are seeking to recruit for the role of Part Time Bookkeeper – Administrator with the potential of Full-Time ( with some flexibility in working hours ). This role offers a positive and friendly culture. Role will be based in the office.

The ideal person for this role, will have previous experience working as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant. They will be responsible for maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded in conjunction with general administration duties.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable and bank/credit card statements
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Processing payments
  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns
  • Processing RCT Payments for subcontractors on ROS
  • General administrative duties as and when required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience with Xero an advantage
  • Experience with ROS is essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and ability to manage and meet all deadlines
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Experience working within the Construction industry an asset
  • Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary €38K - €44K depending on experience

Own transport essential. Parking onsite
