About PwC:PwC is a leading professional services firm providing audit, assurance, consulting, and tax services. Our accounting compliance and finance managed services team supports a wide range of clients in managing their financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper to join our accounting compliance and finance managed services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the team in various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records using accounting software.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial accounts.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
Assist with audits and providing necessary documentation and information.
Collaborate with other team members to improve accounting processes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, or similar).
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
Experience working in a corporate or professional services environment.
