About The Role:

We are looking for an AI Architect who will support our Data Science & Engineering CoE. You will play a critical role to setup generative AI and machine learning solution architectures to create valuable data products that contribute to strategic business initiatives. You will be leading our migration to Databricks Unity Catalog and Databricks Serverless.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in large scale infrastructure transformation projects, but he/she is also passionate about proof of concepts with innovative new technologies such as Generative AI. The role will report directly to the Data Analytics and AI Lead.

Kerry operates a Hybrid working policy, candidates will be required to work from our offices in Naas each week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to next generation data-driven projects in a global agile work environment.
  • Design and implement the enterprise architecture for Analytics & AI cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop processes and tools for effective cloud cost management.
  • Innovate! Stretch the possible boundaries by exploring new technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with data governance, infrastructure, and security teams in a multi-project environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or another quantitative field
  • Proven track record in architecting Microsoft Azure and Databricks enterprise solutions
  • Strong knowledge in xOps: DevOps, DataOps, MLOps, LLMOps, FinOps
  • Experience in programming with Python is required, mastering SQL would be an advantage.
  • Experience in collaborating with ML engineers and data scientists to create scalable data products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
