Afterschool Coordinator

Little Scholars Montessori & Childcare is looking for an Afterschool Coordinator with an immediate start, based in Lusk Co.Dublin.

We are offering a part time position of 27.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday, 1.15pm-6.30pm daily with breaks totalling 30 mins per day

This role will be based within our Lusk service working with afterschool aged children from Junior Infants to Sixth class.

Salary – Competitive and based on experience

Roles & Responsibilities;

• To assist in the care of 24 after schoolers
• To assist with school collections on foot.
• Ensure the safety, security and well being of all children in your care.
• To provide the children a hot meal (food delivered fresh and needs heated).
• To work with the team on the structure of the classroom daily routine and functionality.
• To be the deputy for the designated managerial classroom roles, such as First aid officer, Mandated person etc and be the point of contact for the school.

(The manager and owner will be on hand to support as required).

The ideal candidate will have;

• Childcare qualification (Desirable)
• Have Flexibility with your role
• A good understanding of child’s develop
• Passionate, energetic and caring
• HACCP, FAR First Aid, Manual Handling and Child protection (all desirable but not essential)
• Experience in a similar role
