Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
- Manage all service-related telephone and walk-in inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Clearly communicate with customers regarding the work to be performed on their vehicles, ensuring complete understanding and satisfaction.
Service Coordination:
- Review vehicle and customer history to identify potential additional work requirements, such as recalls or items noted in previous services.
- Handle the handover and administration of Customer Service Vehicles, ensuring all necessary Vehicle Health Checks are conducted.
Administration and Documentation:
- Accurately invoice completed work.
- Ensure the completion of warranty obligations in line with company standards.
- Maintain all relevant systems, ensuring the accuracy of data at all times.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Liaise with the department manager to address and resolve any customer complaints, following up in accordance with dealership procedures.
- Engage with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage feedback for continuous improvement.
General Duties:
- Perform any other appropriate activities as specified by the Service Manager.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the service department's efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using relevant computer systems and software.
- A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
