After School Assistants

An After School Assistant is now required for after-school service in Blackpool and Blarney, Co. Cork.

Successful candidates can bring their own child ( age 4 plus) to the After School service with them saving on their own childcare.

Full Training Provided with Room for promotion.

Interested in the Blackpool role?

• Candidates must have a driving license and own transport for school collections.

Working hours: 1.30 pm or 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm

Interested in the Blarney role?

• A driver is preferred with their transport in the case that a child needs to be collected from school. 

Working hours: 1.30 pm or 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm

Duties will include:

• Assist in the daily operation of the service and the care of children attending the service.
• School pick-ups
• Homework support
• Serving snacks
• Facilitating a fun environment,

Requirements:

• Childcare qualifications NOT necessary but must have an interest/aptitude for working with children
• Driving license essential
