Working Hours / Shifts:

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 08.40 to 17.20.

What does the Accounts Executive role involve?

This role is responsible for the processing of sales and purchasing invoice along with making payments to suppliers. This is an extremely varied role that will require you to develop a varied skillset, including:

• Process sales invoices according to work completed each day as directed by operations.
• Monthly sales reporting.
•  Process purchase invoices and make payments to suppliers.
• Credit control for outstanding sales invoices.
• Record bank payments and receipts in the accounting system matching them with the appropriate invoice.
• Monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
• Monthly scrutiny of the general ledgers.

Who can apply?

Essential criteria:

• 4 GCSE or equivalent grade A* to C, including English and Maths.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Desirable:
• Previous experience in a finance environment.
• Experience of SAP or Sage 500.
