Overview of role:
We are looking for a candidate with healthcare experience who is service-minded and is driven to help others and make the patient experience as straightforward and pleasant as possible. The candidate will be a team-player who is adaptable, responsive, and learning-minded in a fast-paced environment. They will be organised in their approach and competent in the use of technology to facilitate a collaborative and effective way of working.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Meet and greet of patients/ visitors.
· To deal with patient queries in relation to Radiotherapy services, treatment appointments,transport etc.
· Proficient use of the electronic medical record
.· Managing the patient appointment schedule efficiently and effectively.
· Be able to multitask in a busy role, working within a multi-disciplinary team.
· Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
· Be responsible for confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Qualifications & Experience:
Be able to work in a fast-paced customer-based environment
Minimum 2 years previous relevant Administration experience in a busy office based role
Have excellent Customer Care Skills in a patient focused environment
Have excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner, and the ability to communicate effectivelywith all key stakeholders
Have knowledge of all Microsoft packages and experience of a Hospital Administrative System isadvantageous
Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
