SOCIAL CARE WORKER

RESIDENTIAL SERVICES, ST ANNE’S

NORTH TIPPERARY/SOUTH OFFALY

PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (39 Hours per Week)

Salary:€38,951-€54,989* (*LSI)

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work

Essential:

• QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care/Applied Social Studies or equivalent, the award must be considered eligible for CORU registration.
• CORU recognised Social Care Qualification – list of which can be found at this link: https://coru.ie/health-and-social-care-professionals/education/approved-qualifications/social-care-workers/
• Full clean Manual driving licence & requirement to drive service vehicle.

Desirable:

• Experience working within the area of intellectual disability and those who have behaviours of concern.
• To adopt a holistic and person centre approach to your role to ensure people are supported to live their best lives and an awareness of New Directions,
• Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
• Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework
