Martin Reddin Limited one of Ireland's leading Construction companies, originating in Laois with significant projects across Ireland. Our clients include the Department of Education, HSE, The Digital Hub, and McDonalds Restaurants.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and innovative project team that includes Senior Management, Foremen, Quantity Surveyors, and Project Managers. The role involves overseeing all engineering work on site, ensuring that projects are delivered with the highest quality, on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities/ Duties:

  • Review and interpret contract plans and design drawings to effectively plan on-site activities.
  • Set out and verify work on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
  • Gather and record survey and topographical data, creating detailed AutoCAD drawings for as-built records and valuation surveys.
  • Communicate with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and the workforce to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Attend weekly management meetings at Martin Reddin Ltd. to share insights.
  • Address technical challenges and resolve issues efficiently to maintain project progress.
  • Ensure quality management and coordinate
  • Building Control of Alternative Regulatory (BCAR) compliance.

Requirements:

  • Degree/ Technician Level qualification in Engineering (Civil/ Structural).
  • Strong experience as a Site Engineer on high-rise projects with either a
  • Developer and/or Main Contractor.
  • Proficiency in or strong setting out experience in using surveying equipment including GPS, Total Station, Automatic Level, Rotating laser
  • Knowledge of the latest building regulations and certification standards would also be beneficial however training on the relevant Irish/ European standards will be provided as part of the role.
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects undertaken or assigned.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are mandatory.
  • A full clean driving licence.
