We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Lifeguard to join our Sandymount Swimming/Hydrotherapy Pool team.

Contract Type: This is a relief contract.

Salary Scale: €31,329 - €34,832 pro rata per annum.

To carry out to a high standard lifeguarding and associated swimming pool duties.

The successful candidate will have:

Essential Criteria:

· Qualified Lifeguard with qualification obtained with Water Safety Ireland.

OR

· Qualified Lifeguard with international qualification recognised by Water Safety Ireland.

· Minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a qualified Lifeguard.

· Qualified first aider.

· Knowledge of resuscitation including Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.

· Experience of CPR and emergency medical procedures.

Desirable Criteria:

· Experience of teaching people with a disability to swim.

· Experience working with children.

· Level 1 Swim Teacher qualification.
