There are currently 2 Permanent vacancies available in Cork Kerry Community Healthcare. Initial vacancies are for 1 post in Kenmare Community Hospital and 1 post in Macroom Community Hospital. A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign to fill current and future Chef Grade 1 permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration, within Cork Kerry Community Healthcare area.

HSE Cork Kerry Community Healthcare is responsible for the provision of a wide range of Health and Social Services within the community in the Cork/Kerry region.

Community Hospitals/Community Nursing Units are an essential component of our National Health infrastructure, providing residential services including long stay care, respite care and short stay care. The Services for Older Persons Care Group within Cork Kerry Community Healthcare currently has responsibility for 25 HSE Community Hospitals/Community Nursing Units in the region. Cork Kerry Community Healthcare has been working through a systematic programme of development under the Community Nursing Unit Programme in order to bring all of our residential units to the required HIQA and legislative standards. Many of our facilities have undergone major capital refurbishment and upgrades.
