Our team has been leading the way in helping our clients benchmark their ESG footprint, build clear strategies to become more sustainable organisations, understanding their ESG risks and opportunities and preparing them for an ever changing sustainability landscape.

To support our strategic growth, we are hiring experienced individuals with strong backgrounds in decarbonisation, energy transition and ESG strategy, those who are passionate about leveraging their expertise in sustainability to drive real change! In this role, you will not only guide clients towards sustainable practices but also play a crucial part in combating climate change and fostering social responsibility.

As a Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include -

  • Developing and Implementing ESG Strategies: Create and operationalise ESG and Net Zero strategies tailored to clients’ needs across different industries, defining KPIs and frameworks for impact measurement.

  • Conducting Policy Analysis: Analyse ESG policies and develop actionable roadmaps to enhance clients’ sustainability practices.

  • Performing Maturity Assessments: Evaluate clients’ ESG maturity and conduct due diligence on their portfolios and projects.

  • Scenario Analysis:Undertake climate risk and opportunity assessments to inform strategic decisions.

  • Regulatory Compliance Readiness: Develop strategies to prepare clients for non-financial reporting requirements.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong and trusted relationships, providing tailored ESG solutions which create value and impact.

  • People Leadership: Organise and lead both a team and client teams in implementing Net Zero programs to deliver project goals effectively.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-functional PwC teams to integrate ESG principles into broader consulting services.

  • Support Business Development:Contribute to expanding and growing our ESG-related services and thought leadership in the domain and promote PwC’s ESG ESG expertise through public engagements and networking.

  • Evaluate Market Potential: Assist in evaluating market potential, identifying ESG gaps and developing value propositions.

  • Demonstrating Expertise: Demonstrating knowledge of sustainability and ESG reporting including: leading client discussions, initiating conversations with key stakeholders and guiding projects within your expertise.

Experiences and skills: 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or some related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years experience in strategy development with at least 3 years focused on sustainable strategy and energy transition.

  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of global ESG trends, frameworks, and regulatory environments.

  • High-Level Technical Skills: Evaluate clients’ ESG maturity and conduct due diligence on their portfolios and projects, climate risk and opportunity assessments to inform strategic decisions.

  • Project Delivery Experience: Proven track record in delivering sustainability projects across various sectors.

  • Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking and coaching abilities.

  • Communication and Business Development Skills: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to engage clients and stakeholders effectively".

  • Regulatory Compliance Readiness: Develop strategies to prepare clients for non-financial reporting requirements.
