Joe Mallon Motors is a family-run business and the main Renault and Dacia dealer for Kildare and Laois. We are also the new main Peugeot dealer for Kildare. We've two modern showrooms, at our locations in Naas and Portlaoise.

We also sell used cars of all makes and models, along with offering high-quality car servicing and financing options.

We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

1. Marketing Executive

Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Planning:

· Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote new and used vehicle sales, service offerings, and special promotions.

· Conduct market research to identify local automotive trends and customer preferences.

Campaign Development and Execution:

· Lead the creation of compelling marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, radio, and social media.

· Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with inventory and sales goals.

Digital Marketing:

· Oversee the dealership's online presence, including website management, SEO, SEM, and social media.

· Monitor and optimize online advertising campaigns to drive website traffic and generate leads.

Event Management:

· Plan and coordinate dealership events and promotions.

· Manage event logistics, including advertising, signage, and coordination with vendors.

Budget Management:

· Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.

· Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies to optimise results.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Motor industry experience is a plus.

· Proven experience (1-2 years) in a marketing role.

· Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns.

· Excellent project management and organisational skills.

· Videography skills desirable, with expertise in creating engaging and visually compelling content for social media platforms.

· Proven track record of working independently, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

· Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

· Familiarity with CRM systems and dealership management software a plus.

  • 8 hour shift

2. Qualified Motor Technicians: Naas & Portlaoise

We are currently seeking to recruit Fully Qualified Service Technicians to join our team.

Experienced mechanics should have dealer experience. Formal skills training with a recognised automotive organisation is essential.

Experienced technicians should be skilled in all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing including diagnostics and electronics.

You must be able to produce high quality work in a busy environment and be motivated through set targets, showing flexibility according to the needs of your team.

You will be a committed individual with a positive, 'can do' attitude, and willingness to work as part of an effective team.

You will have good communication skills to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop, making sure you liaise with other team members to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Carry out fault diagnosis, service, and repair.
  • Ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to workshop controller as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance.
  • Indicate to workshop controller possible future faults and repair requirements.
  • Ensure that quality procedures relating to the function laid down by the Company are adhered to at all times.
  • Ensure all procedures relating to service books and service, repair and warranty are carried out.
  • Maintain all records and paperwork relevant to the function, ensuring they are accurate and up to date at all times.
  • Issue customers with video of required work to be carried out on vehicle.
